Globes on Globes on Globes: Female Addition

In case you have been living under a rock or are completely out of touch with any sort of news media, the Golden Globes we last night! Here's a post dedicated to the ladies who made watching all 3 hours bearable....

Let's start with the obvious...

Tina and Amy.

Ms. Fey and Ms. Poehler reminded the world that they are, in fact, the true funny women of the 21st century. Along with being nominated, they hosted the Globes and really made the show feel like a reunion of old friends rather than pathetic attempts at jabbing celebrities. Although they did poke fun at some winners of the night, such as Anne Hathaway, it was people like Glenn Close who amplified this "Entertainment High School reunion" feel.

Overall these bitches did exceptional, especially with their cameos as nominated actors in fictitious movies...oh and the subtle Tay Swift remark was brilliant.

Taylor Swift obviously isn't use to losing, after Adele won (the much deserved) Globe for "Skyfall"

Jodi Foster.... really moving? But mostly weird, and I felt like I was eaves dropping on a strangers life when they are talking to a close friend really loud.... I guess that was her coming out and retiring? I feel awkward just thinking back.

What about the President of the Hollywood Foreign Press? She was so old I thought she was going to slip and displace her hip on the way to the mic, and she made a pass at Bradley Cooper, who was a MAJOR asshole about it.

Jennifer Gardner won the cutest fucking wife ever award for coming on stage and finishing Ben's speech for him.... god we love you Jen.

Lena Dunham, one of my favorite newcomers finally got the recognition she deserved, after her Emmy snubs. She sweetly accepted the awards along with thanking Chad Lowe. More on "Girls" to come...

Finally, Miss Jennifer Lawrence proved she really is the most charming woman in Hollywood, with her acceptance speech, from "beating Meryl", to thanking her brothers for their torture through the years. You go J. Law.

Overall, it was a gold rush for the ladies last night.
